BEADS
Lampwork beads - each bead is individually handcrafted using a stainless steel mandrel and a torch. After annealing and cooling to room temperature, the beads are then removed from the rods.
Fused Glass - using a kiln, the glass is heated until it melts and fuses.
Porcelain - a ceramic clay fired to high temperatures resulting in a white, transluscent pendant or bead.
PMC - silver clay - can be sculpted, carved, molded, pushed and pulled shapes and forms. Liquid silver clay can be painted. After the firing process of about 30 minutes to 3 hours, what remains is pure silver.
JEWELRY
After making my own beads, I then design the various
pieces of jewelry. Creating each piece individually, I make my original jewelry
designs with lampworked glass, porcelain pendants, peacock feathers, and such
colored stones as amethyst, rose quartz, garnet, pearls, onyx, lapis lazuli,
citrine, labradorite, peridot and jade, and faceted Swarovski crystals.
